It is measured either as a percentage by mass, by mass per volume, or a combination.
e.g. She had a blood-alcohol of 0.20. The legal limit is o.o8. (Great Britain)
The drink-drive limit was 0.3 permille for young drivers. For other drivers the limit stays at 0.5 permille. (Germany)
