Def: a court procedure of cancelling an event or judicial proceeding both retroactively and for the future so that in the eyes of the law, it never occurred
Example: Any person whose arrest has resulted in a finding of not guilty, or whose case was dismissed or not prosecuted, may petition for annulment of the arrest record.
