Def: a thin strip of flexible material that is sensitive to light and is used for making photographic negatives or transparencies of recording moving images; such strip of developed negatives (transparencies) or moving pictures
Example: I prefer black and white as opposed to color film when taking photos with this technique, as I am better able to correct under and over-exposures in the darkroom when making enlargements.
